In order to realize its mission to become a digital credit union, Alliant Credit Union teamed with WillowTree to create mobile apps that deliver a great user experience and seamlessly span the range of devices a single member might use in a day.

Alliant Credit Union, with more than 380,000 members and over $10 billion in assets, is a not-for-profit financial cooperative. The credit union has set a vision to be a digital-first credit union, and recognized that transformation would be necessary to ensure the attraction and retention of an increasingly digital public that includes financially-savvy consumers of all ages.

Perfecting an Omni-Channel Experience

The apps offer a simple way to view and manage account information, make transfers, manage credit cards, and set travel notifications, delivering a way to bank in the consumer’s channel of choice. Using Xamarin leveraged the existing skill sets of Alliant’s growing team (many of whom were already experienced with Microsoft technologies), allowing them an easy way to work with WillowTree while ensuring a totally seamless omni-channel end-user experience.
