The Challenge

With 7,500+ properties worldwide and five individually-branded apps supporting its Wyndham Rewards loyalty program, Wyndham Hotel Group was ready to reconceive its existing mobile efforts and create one unified experience for iOS and Android. Their new product needed to meet the needs of Wyndham’s wide range of hotel brands, from economy to upper-upscale, and allow users to customize their experience in the app based on the brands they preferred most.

The Solution

Together, the Wyndham and WillowTree teams worked closely to integrate Wyndham’s internal systems and create a branded experience, personalized for guests. The app optimizes the entire booking path for guests, making it easy to earn, track, and redeem rewards points.

The app also simplifies reservations on-the-go, so that users can now reserve rooms with just a few taps. Deals and promotions are also easily accessible to members.

The Results

Wyndham customers were enchanted. Within 30 days of launch, the revamped app saw a 241% increase in usage.
