WillowTree Apps Ranks #15 on the 2013 Technology 200 List
Yesterday, Lead 411 unveiled this year’s Technology 200 List. WillowTree Apps ranked #15 out of the entire 200 with an astounding 458% growth over the last 3 years. In addition, only 4 companies in the state of Virginia were included in this year’s list – WillowTree ranked the highest of all four.
Now in its fourth year, the Tech 200 List recognizes tech companies within the United States with the highest percent of revenue growth from 2010 to 2012. Lead411 calculates revenue growth by percentages vs. dollar growth. This year, the average revenue growth was 250%, which is 13% higher than last year’s Tech 200 list, and 17% higher than 2011. Applicants are required to be privately held, a U.S. based company, and garnish at least $1 million in revenue in 2012.
“When we began the company six years ago, I never thought we’d experience this level of growth,” explained Michael J. Prichard, WillowTree Founder and CTO. “But despite the changes within our industry, and the opportunities they have afforded WillowTree, this achievement is attributed to our talented team, who have been as dedicated to growing this company as I have.”
